      <title>Retreat Houses at De-Tong Ling Retreat Center</title>

      <description>Situated on the western end of Kangaroo Island, South Australia, &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.bcsa.asn.au/Buddhist-Council-of-South-Australia/modules/profile/userinfo.php?uid=111&quot;&gt;&lt;b&gt;De-Tong&amp;nbsp;Ling&amp;nbsp;Retreat&amp;nbsp;Center&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; offers ideal conditions for solitary, long or short term meditation retreat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The center has five fully self-contained retreat houses set in pristine bush-land and available for rent at a modest fee. No retreat house is visible from any other. Each is powered by solar panels and gas, and supplied with clean, pure water.  The retreat houses have running hot and cold water, showers, flushing toilets, a kitchen/living area, sleeping area and a separate meditation room.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Services are provided by residents on adjoining Yacca Creeks, a lay area reserved for non retreat activity.       <description>Annual General Meeting 25 February 2012 Buddhist Council of Australia&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;[Venerable Ladies and Gentlemen and] Representatives and guests:&lt;br /&gt;I move that the annual report of the Chair to the Buddhist Council of South Australia by received.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It gives me great pleasure to present the annual report from the Chair of the Buddhist Council of South Australia to the Annual General Meeting, today 25th February, 2012.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In some ways we have had a difficult year. As is the case for all voluntary organisations these days, our individual enthusiasm has been tempered by other commitments to family and society. Nevertheless we successfully convened three worthwhile and productive meetings.</description>

      <title>Ajahn In to talk at Thai Buddhist Temple</title>

      <description>Ajahn In is still with us from Thailand, and has very kindly offered to be with us for meditation and a Dhamma talk.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is a great opportunity to attend and gain the advice of a very experienced Dhamma practitioner and Monk. Ajahn In is now the head of a lineage with 150 monasteries world wide and we are lucky to have him here in little old Adelaide until mid-April.
